Lord, give me ears that hear
So I hear the cries of the poor
Lord, give me hands that knock
So I can knock on their door
Lord, give me eyes that see,
So I can see in them your face
Lord, give me a heart that loves,
So I can offer heaven’s embrace
Amen

Wednesday, July 27

Help me, Lord,
To live in Your peace
And to bear all that I am given
Help me, Lord,
To seek first Your kingdom
And not the rewards of the world.
Amen

Thursday, July 28

Guided by Your hand, O Lord,
And sheltered from the storm,
I raise my voice to you
In joyful praise.
Amen

Friday, July 29

Lord Jesus, be with me in my pain,
Not to relieve it but only to know
That to suffer is my humble offering
That I accept along with all my gifts
And that I will leave behind in this world
As I seek first and always Your kingdom
Lord Jesus, be with me in my joy!
Amen

Beloved St. Louise, motherless child,
Your own trials led you to your vocation
Pray for us that the Lord may lead us
To follow your example,
To trust in His Providence,
To seek to do His will,
To serve his poor and suffering.
Amen

Tuesday, May 10:

God of my fathers,
God of all time,
God of the earth and sea,
God of all creatures,
God of all things
Who nevertheless blesses me
In you I place my faith, O Lord,
To You I give my love
Your will I seek to do, O Lord
On earth as in heaven above.
Amen

Wednesday, May 11:

Your way is truth and life, Lord,
And I will follow and serve
In Your name
For Your sake
By Your grace
With faith enough to move mountains
With hope that is born anew
With love of the one Who sent me
Amen

Thursday, May 12:

I long to see Your face, O Lord.
Have mercy on me,
Your undeserving child.
Create me anew in Your love.
Amen

Friday, May 13:

Lord Almighty
Who let there be light
Who flooded the earth

That greatest act of love
Help me to give my life for You
Repaying to heaven
All that I have received

Lord Jesus You are
My one and my all
My light and my hope
My way and my truth
My death and my life
My Lord and my God
Amen

Friday, May 6:

Lord, like the morning sun
That begins to glimmer
At the edge of darkness,
Like the parting rainclouds,
Your kingdom comes.
When darkness falls,
When rain rolls in,
When flowers fold at night
Your kingdom remains
On earth as in heaven.
Help me to do Your will.

Lord, my heart sings with gratitude
Like the birds that sing each morning
The song of the joy of creation
The song of a brand new day
Whether in sickness or health,
In poverty or riches,
I trust in You, my Lord,
And I thank you for the day.

Tuesday, April 19:

Send me, Lord Jesus,
Send me forth.
Send me to share Your word.
Send me, Lord Jesus,
Send me to serve.
Send me to share Your love.
Empty me, Jesus,
Of ego, of self,
So all that I share is You.
Amen

Wednesday, April 20:

Lord You are present among us
Not hidden, but right in plain view
But sometimes my mind is distracted
And I can’t even recognize You
Lord You always have known me
You have claimed me right from the start
Even before the day I was born
You have written Your word on my heart
Help me, Lord, not to walk past You
Help me always to recognize
The One to Whom my heart is bound
Help me to see with new eyes
Amen

Thursday, April 21:

Help me to feel the warmth of the hearth,
While I’m still outside chopping the wood.
Lord, help me to work in faith.
Help me let go of rewards of this world,
And to seek first the Kingdom of God.
Lord, help me to serve in hope.
Help me to empty myself of self,
To give and not to receive,
Lord, help me to live in love.
Amen

Most Holy Trinity,
You have called me to love and serve.
Bless my heart, my soul, my mind,
And send me in Your name.

I offer You my words, O Lord,
In praise and gratitude.
I offer You my heart, O Lord,
The fullness of my love.
I offer You my life, O Lord,
On day at a time.

Thursday, April 14:

In sharing the Supper of the Lord,
May I be brought into Your Kingdom
In the bread and wine,
May I be made whole,
One with You, Lord Jesus.

Friday, April 15 (Good Friday):

As You offered Your suffering for me,
May I offer my suffering to You.
May all my illness, all my pain,
All my sadness, all my worries,
All the crosses I bear,
Become a single prayer
That washes me clean,
Replacing pain with hope,
In Your name, Jesus Christ.

Saturday, April 16 (Holy Saturday):

My heart is filled with gratitude
And whispers prayers of thanks
For Your sacrifice.

My soul waits in silence
For the coming of the Lord.

Glory to You, Lord Jesus,
The Living Word of God!
You have rolled away the stone,
So death no longer has power!
The cross of suffering

To seek out the lonely,
Lord, see my prayer.
To care for the neighbor,
Lord, see my prayer.
For Your love alone,
Lord, be my prayer.
Amen

Wednesday, April 6:

Lead me, Lord Jesus,
When I lose my way.
Lead me to serve in hope.
Free me, Lord Jesus,
From the shackles of sin.
Free me to live in Your word.
Amen

Thursday, April 7:

Lord, help me to be gentle,
To offer words of comfort,
To always act with mercy
Especially to people
That I feel do not deserve it.
Make me Your gentle instrument, Lord,
Not because I deserve it,
But to do Your work through me.
Amen

I saw You today at the grocery store
Adding up prices with care
Unsure if you had enough for the week
I didn’t expect You there
I almost walked past You this morning
Have You done something new with Your hair?
You were sitting alone on a park bench
And I didn’t expect You there
I heard You at Mass this morning
Along with everyone there
Crying so loud in the back of the Church
And I didn’t expect You there
I pray to You, Christ, to forgive me
For passing You by unaware
Help me to always expect You
As You have expected my prayer

For those overwhelmed into inaction
By the many challenges they face.
Let me be Your voice,
Offering encouragement,
So that by the power of Your love
They may rise up and walk.
Amen

Wednesday, March 30:

Help me to act
In Your mercy, Lord,
To dry the neighbor’s tears,
To share the neighbor’s burden,
To show them Your love
Through my works.
So they, too, may live
In Your mercy, Lord.
Amen

O Lord, remember Your servant
Whose trust is greater than pride
Not only in Your Divine Providence
But that You will know what to provide

Father in heaven,
Whose Word I know,
Help me to do Your will;
To serve, to love, to forgive,
For Your sake alone, not mine.
Amen

Wednesday, March 9:

Of all the gifts You have given me,
All of them to be shared,
There are none greater than love,
That gives of self,
And knows no bounds.
Lord, knowing Your great mercy,
There is nothing I cannot forgive.
Amen

Thursday, March 10:

Lord, I bring many needs before You,
Knowing You are the source of all good,
And trusting in Your Divine Providence.
Father, do not give me what I ask for.
Rather, give me what it is pleasing to You,
In accordance with Your plan for my life.
Not my will but Yours be done.
Amen

Friday, March 11:

Two coats are in my closet, Lord,
For when it’s cold outside.
Two coats I bought to keep me warm,
And one of them is mine.
So many gifts from You, O Lord,
So many ways to shine.
I have so many gifts, O Lord,
And none of them are mine.

Lord, in Your hands
I place my burdens
In Your will
I place my trust
In Your name
I place my very self
In Your Kingdom
I place my hope

Wednesday, March 2:

Lord, I cry out from the depths of my soul,
From the depths of my soul, to You.
From my pride, help me find humility,
May my works be done for Your sake
From my heart help me offer my very self
For the love of my Father in heaven

My Lord and My God,

Of the things that will not last;
