Vincentians are in for a treat at this year’s National Assembly in Phoenix Arizona August 14 – 17, 2024. Plan to experience an amazing array of workshops, nationally-known keynote speakers, an inspiring spiritual retreat with Archbishop Andrew Bellisario, and the Host City Event “State 48 Arizona Nights BBQ.”
There will also be tours of SVdP Phoenix’s renowned Dan O’Meara Center and the nationally acclaimed SVdP thrift store in Avondale.

Visit the Dan O’Meara Center and be inspired by ways Vincentians serve the Phoenix. The Center serves 7,000 daily meals through four charity dining rooms and partner organizations. $7.14 million is distributed in rent and utility assistance to help families avoid homelessness. 18,700 visits to their medical, dental and family wellness clinics last year, regardless of insurance or ability to pay.
Or take a trip to the nationally acclaimed SVdP thrift store in Avondale. Learn how this store implements best practices in management, set up, and merchandising to successfully raise funds for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul’s programs.
