Chief Operations Officer

Director of Annual Giving
The Director of Annual Giving plays a vital role in growing the Society’s national philanthropic revenue through strategic donor engagement. Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer (CAO), this position is responsible for overseeing and growing SVdP’s direct response fundraising programs — including direct mail, mid-level giving, monthly giving, and online giving. This position oversees a multi-channel direct-response program, supports national fundraising campaigns such as the Friends of the Poor® Walk and the National Vehicle Donation Program, and directly supervises and supports the Development Coordinator. National Director of Marketing & Communications
The National Director of Marketing and Communications manages national membership communications and external communications on behalf of the National Council of the United States, Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Inc. The Director oversees marketing strategy, marketing plan execution, and all communications in support of the strategic and annual plans as directed by the Chief Advancement Officer. The National Director of Marketing and Communications is the national brand champion, elevating our voice while advocating for our mission-centric membership, fundraising and advocacy. He/She analyzes national activities, marketing and communications for their impact on the Society’s national brand identity and is also adept at crisis communications across multiple organizational and governance levels.
